the rain soaks me through
the coldness piercing my heart
tears freezing as they fall
unnoticed as i crumple

every thought poisoning
my tattered soul
the clouds resonating in my eyes
empty as your words
but full of hurt and pain

thrown away
like a child’s outgrown toy
so used and etched with nightmares
never to be loved again

stripped of all color
the darkness covering every curve
of my bruised body
fading
fading in to the memories
